President Obama Encourages More Ovarian Cancer Research


October is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month.  Unfortunately, there is still no good screening test for ovarian cancer. Still, as has been the case for last 50 years, most cases of ovarian cancer are diagnosed in later stages, so it is encouraging that our leaders bring it up and are committed to fighting it.

President Obama recently honored women who have been diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and urged more research into prevention, detection and treatment of the disease, according to this recent article from Huffington Post.
